Arguments are finished on two high profile natural gas drilling cases currently before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.   Now comes the waiting for all parties concerned as the Justices decide the meaning of the word “mineral” in thousands of deeds affecting royalty payments totaling millions of dollars and as they debate the legality of Act 13 and it’s attempt at standardizing zoning regulations for gas drilling rigs and related items statewide.  Most observers believe the Court will decide the Act 13, zoning case first considering the time sensitive nature of the issues involved.

The  13  Trial lawyers at  DLP continue to follow with great interest gas drilling issues in the Commonwealth.   DLP represents victims of serious  GAS DRILLING   AND   GAS TRUCK ACCIDENTS in Pennsylvania’s Gas Country, including clients in  Bradford,  Tioga,  Susquehanna,  Lycoming,  Potter,  Sulliva   and  Wyoming  Counties.
