The Pittsburgh Post – Gazette reports today that the DEP –without any publicity—changed the way water contamination cases at natural gas drilling sites in Pennsylvania’s Marcellus Shale region are reported and investigated.  According to the article the change at DEP could save gas drilling companies millions of dollars.  The article can be read on PPG’s website.

Also, a trip up Pennsylvania  Route 6 through Bradford County revealed that truck traffic volume is still way down from what it was two years ago.  Although unscientific, it appears just from the lack of trucks that drilling in the region is still slow as natural gas companies await increases in natural gas prices on the open market.

The  13  Trial Lawyers at Dougherty Leventhal Price  LLP are continuing to handle complex accident cases in Pennsylvania Gas Country.  DLP is handling  Drill Site Accidents,  Pipeline Construction accidents,  Gas Truck Accident and Quarry Accident cases throughout  NEPA and Central Pennsylvania.
