Reports today note that natural gas drilling companies continue to struggle with methane leaks in water supplies during drilling procedures.  Reports out of Bradford County found leaks in a concrete casing led to methane escaping into water supplies.  The problem is one that drilling companies continue to try to eliminate.  Better methods are being developed to avoid leaks.  In the meantime, well water and streams which suffered contamination seem to be improving.

Elsewhere, a report by the AP notes that gas industry donations to political leaders has declined over 2010.  Lobbying costs are still in the millions of dollars.

DLP represents workers and innocent victims of gas drilling accidents, quarry accidents, truck accidents, car accidents and other accident victims.
