As the battle over taxation of drilling rig /gas producing companies heats up in Pennsylvania opponents of the tax are citing major economic contributions to the State’s economy.   Anti-tax advocates claim that the gas drilling industry has already contributed at least $15 billion in revenues.  This number includes money for royalties, construction of drill rig sites. roads. business taxes etc.  Proponents of the tax continue to cite environmental and other concerns.  The twelve trial lawyers at DLP continue to monitor the debate on behalf of the many seriously injured clients it represents in drilling rig accidents, truck accidents, work accidents and other gas related events.
