Water issues continue to headline the Marcellus Shale gas drilling debate in Pennsylvania. Reports today note a faulty lab test which incorrectly found bromide in well water. The test results have been recinded and a notice of error published. Gas companies have questioned the results for some time. Also, the debate over placement of gas drilling wells adjacent to streams, lakes and water sources continues. Finally, a group of out of state gas pipeline workers was arrested in Wyoming County and charged with illegal deer pouching. The men were terminated by the gas line company according to reports.
