THE  13  TRIAL LAWYERS AT  DLP CONTINUE TO REMAIN BUSY INVESTIGATING  NUMEROUS GAS DRILLING RIG ACCIDENTS AND GAS TRUCK ACCIDENTS OCCURRING IN AND THROUGHOUT NORTHEAST AND CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.  A LARGE PORTION OF DLP’S PRACTICE INCLUDES REPRESENTING ACCIDENT VICTIMS IN THE NORTHERN TIER INCLUDING TIOGA, BRADFORD, SUSQUEHANNA AND WYOMING COUNTIES.

A recent OSHA report raises serious concerns for gas drilling rig workers and gas company employees working around the ‘fracking” industry.  Osha reports that the sand used in the fracking process can be dangerous and compares the dager to that imposed by asbestos.  Fracking sand is very fine, similar to silica.  Drilling workers need to take precautions when working with and around the sand.  The fine particles can cause permanent damage to lungs and other parts of the body.
