The Pennsylvania House and Senate are debating this issue as they attempt to agree on a comprehensive gas drilling regulatory bill for Marcellus Shale gas drilling in the Commonwealth. The House tends to favor less restrictive setbacks. The Senate is proposing further setbacks. The debate continues this week.
