Gas Drilling Regulations Are Hot Topic

As natural gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale region intensifies, states affected are all debating fees, taxes and environmental regulations. The Pennsylvania legislature is attempting to reach a compromise final gas drilling bill before the holiday recess. Likewise, New York debates governing legislation which must be passed in order to lift the ban on drilling in the state. Finally, the governor of West Virginia weighed in today with his recommendations for regulating natural gas drilling in his state.
