Gas Drilling Rigs On Campus?

Date: May 12, 2011
Posted In: DLP Law

Pennsylvania officials in charge of the many state run universities are considering permitting natural gas companies to lease public land and conduct  gas exploration on campus properties.  Proponents note that drilling rig sites are prevalent  in urban settings throughout states such as Texas and have created few problems.  Opponents note environmental concerns, recent drill rig accidents and the lack of state mandated regulations in Pennsylvania.  The twelve lawyers at Dougherty Leventhal and Price LLP, DLP, continue to monitor this and other drilling issues while representing people injured in drilling rig accidents, trucking accidents and other serious matters.  DLP can be found on line at dlplaw.com, NEPAtruckaccidentlawyers.com or Pagasdrilling.com.
