Governor Corbett today signed an executive order lifting the 2010 ban on additional leasing of Stae Forrest lands for natural gas drilling. The Governor’s Order does NOT permit new roads or gas wells to be built. the Order simple permits leasing of state land for horizontal drilling from existing vertical wells.
