Harrisburg Rumors: NO Severance Tax in Proposed Budget

House and Senate Republican leadership continue to caucus in Harrisburg.  The budget deadline is June 30th.  Word out of the Capital indicates that a “no new taxes” budget will be proposed by the deadline.  If the rumors are true, there will be no new severance tax on natural gas this year.  We should know very soon.  The legislature is back in caucus tomorrow, Sunday.
