Hit by a Truck from Out of State? Attorney Brian Price

Date: October 12, 2012

Many trucks pass through Pennsylvania on a daily basis.  If you have been hit by a truck and seriously injured, the fact that the truck was from another state may actually help you.  You see, many people who selected the limited tort option on their insurance are precluded from collecting non-economic damages (pain and suffering) if they are limited tort.  However, if the vehicle that hits you, including a truck, is registered in another state, then the law makes you full tort automatically.  This is a huge help in many cases.  If you are hit by a truck from out of state, call me.  Attorney Brian Price bprice@dlplaw.com
