Hunting Lands To See More Gas Drilling Rigs

Vowing to maintain State game land areas that contain wetlands, streams and certain wild life habitat, the Pennsylvania Fish and Game Commission has opened additional acreage for gas drilling rig construction and exploration.  Fees received for leasing state game lands total into the millions of dollars.  The money will go to the Commission and will be used to foster its activities in difficult economic times.  The Commission has vowed to maintain high environmental standards in conjunction with working closely with the gas drilling companies.   The twelve lawyers at DLP will continue to monitor this issue as it represents numerous individuals, many who enjoy hunting and fishing, in serious accidents including drilling rig accidents, truck accidents and other gas industry related mishaps.
