Trout Unlimited is dedicated to protecting and restoring fish habitat –especially native trout–throughout the United States.  Local chapters in Pennsylvania have voiced concerns for the past six years over the effects of fracking on pristine streams located throughout native Pennsylvania.  It now appears that the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has been listening.  Reports in Harrisburg indicate that the Commission has requested approximately $1 million to create a new department dedicated to the investigation and oversight of streams and waterways in the Marcellus Shale region.  The money will fund inspectors to look out for the preservation of Pennsylvania waterways and their wildlife.  The request is currently pending.

Meanwhile, the 12 Trial Lawyers at DLP are watching over clients seriously injured in complex personal injury accidents arising at gas drilling/fracking sites, pipeline construction sites, quarries and truck accident sites throughout Northeast and Central Pennsylvania.  DLP has been handling civil litigation cases in Tioga, Bradford, Susquehanna, Sullivan, Lycoming, Wayne, Pike, Clinton, Wyoming, Center and other counties for over 35 years.  Remember–Injury??  CALL DLP!!
