Zantac Heartburn Medication Linked to Various Types of Cancer

In October 2019, multiple big-box retailers halted sales of Zantac and other popular ranitidine medications. This recall was sparked by new research indicating the presence of NDMA, a harmful carcinogen, in medications containing ranitidine. Current findings suggest that the ranitidine molecule, when ingested, may be unstable and form NDMA.
