 In 2010, workers  in the 25 to 54 year old range accounted for 54 % of the work-related fatal injuries in Pennsylvania. This age range is considered the prime working age group. There were 119 total fatalities in the 25 to 54 age group in Pa. in 2010. Nationwide, this group accounted for 60 percent of on-the-job fatalities.
