Brooks-LaSure says that “Vaccinated staff are more available as they are less likely to get sick.” This article encourages and stresses that having healthcare workers vaccinated is the most important tool in keeping the Coronavirus at bay. In addition, healthcare workers themselves express that getting the vaccine is vital in these uncertain times. Berklan also states the vaccination rates in nursing home residents which is 87.3% and 81.6% in staff.
