NRG Inc. is a giant in the world of natural exploration and development.  At a recent seminar the CEO of NRG raised eyebrows when he noted that at least 30% of Americans reside within close proximity to natural gas lines.  NRG believes that personal generators powered by natural gas can act as personal electric sources for individual property owners and businesses.  The idea is not pie in the sky.  NRG notes that the technology exists and can be developed immediately.  Anyone taking advantage of this new source of energy would cut out the need for services from the local electric utility.  You can bet that the electric industry is taking note of these comments!
