The anti local zoning law rules included in Act 13 have been shot down by the Commonwealth Court.  Now it looks like the towns that challenged Act 13 are under scrutiny by the PUC and may not receive their share of “impact fee” money collected under the new law.   The PUC is reviewing the local zoning ordinances in each community to determine if they are “anti drilling”.  If so, the communities risk being left out on distribution of Act 13 money.   People in the towns who own property and want gas drilling seem to be requesting the PUC to take action.
